The towplanes they used during the competition. Every day a big fleet of these nice Wilga's. A Discus2b with 150 liters of water is no problem for these babies.

The practice days where very hot, on some days temperatures up to 38 degrees! The temperature decreases with 1 degree per 100 meter altitude, so it's time to go up to the cloud base for some refreshment!

Again one of the practice days. Nice clim brates at the end of the task, this one with an average of 4.4 m/s. On the first day of the competition I even saw an average rate of 5.8 m/s!!
